Legion of Everblight - Painting coming along for the models of the Two-Player Battle Box

I got motivated tonight, and before I knew it, I actually had finished 5 models.  So if you recall I purchased the Two-Player Starter set for the Hordes awhile back, You can see that post here.  Well, I have been wanting to get these guys painted, and woot, got 5 done for the most part.

Got the base coat down
Now I'm not the greatest painter in the world, but I could say I'm average for the everyday war-gamer.  Here are some photos I took from my phone of the mostly completed models.

Legion of Everblight - Carnivean Heavy Warbeast
Legion of Everblight - Shredder Lessor Warbeasts

Over the next couple of days, I will be painting Lylyth, and then I will be painting the unit that came in that starter box the Blighted Ogrun Warspaers.  Those look like a fun unit to paint and play.  And I can't wait to see the whole group painted and on the table to play.

I'm still not sure what I want to do with the bases, I see some people go with winter theme and snow, and then other rocky and dry grass, etc.  But I have not made up my mind what I want to do.  If you have any thoughts leave comments below.

  1. Very impressed that you got the big fella and the shredders done in one night – I started 4 years ago and still have a shredder to go!

I did snow/rock base for my everblight and found it very quick and easy to do.

    1. Thanks, what did you use for creating the snow effect?

    2. If I remember correctly I had a large tub of Woodland Scenics snow flock and mixed it with a little PVA glue to make a paste. Once on the base I scatter more flock over the top while it was still wet.
